I’m a sophomore at Brown University, planning to concentrate in biology with a focus on marine/environmental biology and ecology.

I grew up in Miami, exploring the subtropical Atlantic on snorkeling and scuba diving trips in Miami, the Florida Keys, and more recently, the Bahamas. My passion for the ocean grew with every snorkel and dive trip as I fell in love with the organisms and underwater world around me.

I joined the Witman lab team in September 2016. I’m currently working on a project that looks at fish herbivory across species under varying wave flow conditions. Through video analysis, we can determine how fish behave with respect to feeding at different sites that each have distinct wave activity.
