Robbie recently attended the 10th Indopacific Fish Conference hosted by the CRIOBE in Tahiti, French Polynesia. The IPFC gathers experts in all aspects of fish biology, ecology, taxonomy, and fisheries from around the world in "the olympics of fish science" every four years. Robbie presented on his work studying the effects of ENSO cycles on Galapagos reef fish communities, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Tahiti above and below the water. Also in attendance were our collaborators from Chile, Alejandro Perez-Matus and his research technician Catalina Ruz. |
